What is collected
Very little. You can read every page without signing up, because there are no accounts. There are no forms to fill in, so the site never asks for your name, address or email. Three Rivers Home Water sets no cookies, and it runs no advertising trackers and no analytics scripts that follow you from page to page.
Fonts and videos
Two outside services load on some pages.
The site's fonts come from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google, so Google receives that request along with your IP address. Google's own privacy policy covers what it does with it.
Some pages include a video, and those videos are click-to-play. Before you press play, the only thing fetched is the video's thumbnail picture, from YouTube's image server (i.ytimg.com). Nothing else from YouTube loads. When you press play, the page loads YouTube's privacy-enhanced player from youtube-nocookie.com, and from that point YouTube's own privacy policy applies to what it collects.
Server logs
The company that hosts this site keeps standard server logs for security. Each entry holds the IP address of the visitor, the time, the page requested and the browser that asked for it. They are kept for security, and this site does not use them to build profiles of readers.
Other sites
Many pages link to other websites, such as City Utilities' reports, state agencies, makers' manuals and, on a few product pages, two stores with the same owners as this site (see ownership and store links). Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies, not this one.
Changes
